Mission

United Ministries of Westmoreland County is on a mission to provide essential assistance and referrals to individuals and families in need of housing and healthcare support in Westmoreland County. Through our targeted programs, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing these challenges.

Nearly 4 out of 10 renters and 1 out of 4 homeowners in Westmoreland spend too much of their income on housing—making it hard to afford food, medicine, or other necessities.

Westmoreland ranks near the bottom (#96 out of 133 counties) in overall health compared to other areas in Virginia.

People in Westmoreland live about 3 years less than the average Virginian. Many struggle to get the healthcare they need.
